With Golf Portraiture Scotland, your Scottish golfing experience is captured in a bespoke oil painting that will last a lifetime. Each portrait is original, personal, and designed entirely around you.
Based in St Andrews, I recreate your moment from some of the world’s most iconic courses. Whether you’re driving off the tee, chipping close, or sinking that final putt, your pose and setting are chosen by you—then hand-painted in my studio.
Using reference photos from your trip, I paint on high-quality box canvas with premium oil paints. Each painting is professionally framed.

How it works
Your Portrait Begins Before the First Brushstroke.
Discovery Call & Package Selection
We start with a short conversation to get to know each other. You’ll tell me about your trip, your favourite course, and what you’re hoping to capture in your portrait. We’ll talk through ideas, timing, and select a portrait package that fits your needs.
On-Course Photography
I’ll meet you on the course. I’ll follow discreetly as you play, taking photos that capture your natural stance, swing, and setting.
Painting in the Studio
Back in my studio near St Andrews, I begin the painting. Using oil on canvas, I build your portrait by hand—layering tone, light, and detail until it reflects the moment we captured together.
Approval
When the painting is complete, I’ll send images via email for your approval. You can request minor adjustments to make sure it’s just right.
Secure Delivery
Once approved, your portrait is professionally packaged and shipped to your chosen address—or delivered in person if you're nearby.
